Recycle Column Condenser Bundle Replacement

• Because of the sheer size and weight, it was more economical to fabricate the bundle on site due to additional handling and transportation costs.
• The project was on budget and on schedule for both the shop and field scope of work.
• Total weight of the bundle only was 278,291 lbs or 139.3 tons (excluding components).
• There was a total of 8330 - ¾” 14 BWG tubes app. 34’ long.
• All tubes were expanded using a technology called Hydroswaging.
• All tube ends were seal welded using a portable orbital welder.
